Library Rules

Student Conduct

Student patrons of the library media center must follow the established rules of acceptable behavior listed below. Disciplinary action, depending on the nature of the offense, will be taken if students fail to follow the rules and may result in the following consequences. We want to keep the library a safe place for everyone.

Rules

• Treat each other with respect.
• Use a quiet voice so as not to disturb other media center patrons.
• Take care of all library media center materials.
• Keep hands, feet, and objects to self.
• Leave food and drink outside the library media center. .
• Do not print from computers without permission.
• Listen and follow directions the first time they are given.
• Use good manners at all time.

Consequences

1. Verbal warning from a media center staff member.

2. Students will lose a point on Class Dojo and a written discipline slip will be documented.Parents will be notified.

3. If a student continues misbehavior, the student will be asked to return to class and the teacher will be notified.

4. If misbehavior is severe, an office referral may be written.
